Welcome to BJH Guitars

BJH guitars are hand built six and seven string archtop guitars made from hand picked top grade woods. There are various models available with many variations to choose from to suit an individual player’s needs.

Bryan Hill began making archtop guitars when his son - top British jazz artist Paul Hill - expressed an interest in playing a seven string guitar. The prototype guitar that Bryan made was an instant hit and has had great reviews from some of the world’s top players.

Building on this success, Bryan now makes both six and seven string models. Throughout the construction process, Bryan always listens to the player’s needs. Many variations are available such as differently voiced floating or fixed BJH custom pickups to the type of finger rest. Bryan has made many advancements whilst listening to his customers needs such as the development of the tapered finger rest that greatly improves a player’s access.
